Care Instructions
xGeneral Care
- Wash the ICEL knife by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge immediately after use.
- Dry the blade and handle completely with a soft cloth to help prevent stains and corrosion.
- Do not leave the knife soaking in water or with food residue, especially salty or acidic foods, on the blade, as this can cause rust or corrosion spots.
- Use the knife only for its intended purpose and avoid cutting frozen foods, bones, or using the knife as a screwdriver or opener.
Dishwasher Use
- ICEL knives with plastic handles may be washed in the dishwasher, although hand washing is the preferred method for maintaining the knife.
- If using a dishwasher, rinse the knife under running water before washing and place it so the blade is separated from other objects.
- Remove the knife immediately after the dishwasher cycle and dry it thoroughly to reduce the risk of staining and corrosion.
Sharpening and Edge Maintenance
- Keep the knife sharp to maintain effective cutting performance and reduce the force required during use.
- ICEL blades can recover their cutting performance through proper sharpening, with the exception of serrated knives.
- When using a sharpening steel, hold the blade at approximately a 10–15° angle and repeat the movement the same number of times on each side of the blade.
- If you are not confident using a sharpening steel or whetstone, have the knife serviced by a specialized sharpening service.
Storage
- Store the ICEL knife in a knife block, on a magnetic bar, or in a blade guard to protect the cutting edge.
- Do not keep the knife loose in a drawer where the blade can come into contact with other utensils.
- Always keep the knife out of reach of children.

We want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not fully satisfied, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order, in line with UAE eCommerce regulations.
Return Eligibility
Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags intact and proof of purchase provided.
How to Return
Email onlinesales@mostafawi.ae within 7 days to initiate a return. Approved returns are subject to a AED 35 return shipping fee, borne by the customer. Items must be securely packed using the original protective materials.
Refunds
Once your return is inspected and approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
